Articles & Charm Information

This is a new section for the website. I want to add some information for people who are new to charm collecting so over the next few months I am hoping to add various articles covering all aspects of charms and charm collecting (it is also an excuse for me to add some of my vast collection of photos to the website!). 

All the information is knowledge that I have gained from collecting myself, selling and trading charms for many years, reading vast amounts of information in books and on the web and generally chatting to people over the years. If you read something you don't agree with or know of conflicting information please, drop me a line, I am still learning something new about these little wondrous treasures myself on a regular basis. Hopefully together we can build a small but interesting library of useful information.

A few articles I want to work on are English love tokens (added May 2009), marks & markings including English silver hallmarks, English silver novelties including Nuvo & Chim, glass Czech charms (added October 2009), Fums Up & touch wood (added April 2009) and finally, for now, shield travel charms. That lot will keep me busy for a good few months but if there is anything you would like to see covered please just drop me a line.
